a bell…

Posted by Kyle on April 16, 2006

there is a whole history behind this bell… I just don't remember what it is.  it was donated to Onondaga Farms last summer.  it wasn't its aural history that I wanted to capture anyway but its history from the point of view of its facade is what interested me.

musical survivors

Posted by Kyle on April 14, 2006

my mom had a series of these clay chimes in our backyard.  over the winter several of them broke but these ones survived to chime again.  i love the texture of their surface and the colour they still display.

hidden past

Posted by Kyle on April 5, 2006

This section of wall is what's left of a structure that no longer exists. There are actually three sides that are still partially there and they stand next to an old cement silo. The entire stucture is partially hidden within a patch of forest at the Credit Valley Conservation Area.
